Butterfly Release

We once again got caterpillars, that turned into chrysalises, and then to butterflies!  We let them go on the morning of Good Friday, there were 4 in all.  We covered our hands in sugar water in the hopes they would hang around for a bit.  3 of them left pretty quickly, but one stayed with us for 20 minutes!  The girls were beyond thrilled.....this will be a yearly tradition!  (Did it for the first time last year)

Houston Rodeo

We went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo earlier this week.  The girls loved riding in on the "train", seeing all the animals, and the CARNIVAL!  Maybe next year we will go later and actually see the rodeo! ;)

 

 

 

Paul is up on the ferris wheel with us, he was NOT a fan of the height and didn't want his photo taken.  I thought I was the one with the fear of heights!  You should have seen him on the Sky Ride.....I had two kids, two stuffed animals, AND the back pack to get on the lift as well as myself; he had Lauren and one stuffed animal.  I think he was clinging to Lauren for dear life!  :)

Girls' Getaway Weekend

Jackie came to visit from Virginia on Thursday.....we had a fun couple of days at home, and then off to San Antonio to meet Karen!  We had so much fun shopping, eating, talking, drinking, gaming, touring, etc!  Can't wait for our next trip!
