Bluebonnet pictures

Ah..........the Texas tradition of hauling your kids out to the bug-infested fields on the side of the highway to get pictures of your adorable kiddos as they sit on ant piles and get burrs in their Crocs. Doesn't that sound like FUN?!?!? :)
Actually, all went well this year for the most part, other than the burrs in the Crocs! Thanks to a suggestion from my Twins' group, we found an out-of-the-way spot on the grounds of a private school with no speeding cars nearby! Lauren had a blast wandering around, Kaitlyn had fun until the burrs hit her Crocs, and Emma......well, Emma had to be carried around a lot! We did get some great pictures, MUCH better than our experience at the portrait studio the next day for the twins 2 year pics. Let's just say Kaitlyn was awesome, Emma didn't scream, and Lauren........well, Lauren was "velcroed" to Mommy!
