Kaitlyn had surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids earlier this week after getting strep throat 7 times in less than a year. She was a super-brave little girl and is recovering well. Hopefully, she'll be feeling perfect by Christmas Eve so we can all enjoy the holiday!

Silly cap they had her wear to hold her hair back before...
...I put her hair up in a pony tail.
Bella's on hand to make it all better
Bear from the surgical center (along with crayons and coloring
book describing what was about to happen) that she got to keep

Laughing at Daddy

Kaitlyn and Mommy, right before surgery
Kaitlyn when we first saw her in Recovery(notice her sock that the staff put on Bella)
Arm with IV protected so she wouldn't pull it out
Sock-less foot with monitor
Her view when she woke up--cool inserts in all the fluorescent
light panels including kites, hot air balloons, and fish too
Daddy watching over Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn's view when she woke up--thought it odd to have pandas,
penguins, and ice in a jungle-themed mural, but it was still cute! :)
Mommy watching over Kaitlyn, and laughing at Paul who thought I was nuts for taking pictures!
She's awake! And semi-smiling!!!
Watching TV as she slept on and off
Headed home with Bella and apple juice--riding the stretcher and wheelchair were the best!
