Paul and I had the most wonderful time on our trip to Terranea Resort just outside of Los Angeles, CA. We dropped the girls off with Gigi and G-pa Thursday morning and we were off to the airport! We are so grateful to G&G for watching the girls...it was so nice to know they were happy and in great hands the whole time we were gone. After our relaxing (I haven't flown without children in over 7 years!) plane ride, we arrived at LAX at 11:00am. We got on a shuttle to Terrenea, which took us through the city, then through the town of Palos Verdes, and finally to breathtaking views as we approached the resort. The place was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!! Paul and I spent most of the afternoon just relaxing in our room, such a treat! There was a welcome reception and dinner that night out on the lawn, which was really nice. I got to meet some of Paul's work friends and we all had a really good time! Then off to bed (since it was 2 hours later our time) so we could get some rest before our trip to Santa Monica and Venice Beach the next day.......
