So...Kaitlyn started Tuesday with a 103 fever, Emma started Wednesday with a 103 fever. Lauren started Thursday with a low-grade fever and coughing. Paul took off Wednesday and Thursday, I took off Friday. Paul took Kaitlyn and Emma to the doctor Wednesday morning, strep was negative so they told us it was probably viral. I talked with the doctor's office Friday morning and they confirmed both cultures were negative. Then I get a call Friday afternoon that Kaitlyn's is positive and they have called in an antibiotic....what??? So my poor kid has been sick and miserable(on and off) for FOUR days with strep and you are just now confirming it? Frustrating......and they wouldn't prescribe Emma any because hers was still negative. Now I feel puny too and I am guessing some of us might be at a Rediclinic or our old stand-by, Urgent Care, sometime today. BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my poor girls deserve to feel better!
