Silly girls.....sleepy girls

I took these pictures a few days ago right before their nap. They were being goofy, then both started sucking their thumbs. Emma sucks her thumb quite often, and almost always pulls at her hair as she is sucking(see photo above). Lauren hardly ever sucks her thumb, unless she's really tired or laying in her crib about to go to sleep. Sweet girls......stay tuned for pictures of Kaitlyn's new haircut. :)

Can't sleep...so I thought I'd Blog!

Having trouble sleeping tonight...tossed and turned for most of it. Finally got up at 4:00 and have been organizing Kaitlyn's Girl Scout Cookies sales. Figured I'd blog now as there is no sense in going back to bed for 40 minutes.....

(PS--Aren't the twins in the most adorable dresses? Christmas gift from Aunt Neecee, Uncle Paul, and Kristen.
PPS--Don't mind the big bruise on Lauren's forehead.....she hit it on her crib one day as she woke up....from happy to screaming in 2.2 seconds!
PPS--Happily, we found out at the doctor yesterday that Emma's head IS growing on track--yea! But....she does have a partial cleft palette, which will probably require Speech Therapy. She has qualified for ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) and will be monitored and perhaps receive therapy through them until she is three, then the school district will take over.....)

Christmas in Florida

We had a great time over Christmas while we were in Florida, despite all of our sicknesses. Below is just a few of the over 200(!) pictures we took during our trip. We were so fortunate that my parents rented a house right on the beach. Believe me, whenever the twins were down for a nap and Kaitlyn was happily playing with her cousins(Lindsey and Kristen), I was sitting by the shore with a beer in my hand! The girls all had so much fun together....hiking, "canoe-ing", visiting a rescue center for local animals, going to Nana & Papa's house (and riding a golf cart and going in the pool), "beaching", and doing just about anything else 3 (sometimes all 5) girls enjoy to do!
