We went to Dewberry Farms this morning after Kaitlyn's soccer game. The girls had a lot of fun....we'd still be there if it wasn't for nap time!

Trey and Kaitlyn

We had a lot of fun the past two weekends with my cousin and her family. A couple of weekends ago, Karen and her husband(Dominique) came into town with their two kids, Trey(almost 6), and Paige(2). We had so much fun laying low with them and drinking and eating. The kids had a blast playing together too. This past weekend, I drove to Austin to visit with Karen and have a girls weekend. I got in Friday evening and got to see the kids quick before they went to bed. Saturday morning we were out early for pedicures, then went to my aunt and uncles house, where we planned to stay the night. (Their house is beautiful.......great views!!!) Karen and I ate out at the Hula Hut(mmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................................) and did lots of shopping. We saw a movie and then went back home to visit with my aunt and uncle for the evening. Sunday morning, I slept in until 10:00(!) and then we all went to brunch at Mimi's(mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...................................). More shopping was on the agenda, and then back home to Houston in he yucky rain for me. Paul held down the fort here with the girls--thanks honey! And thanks to Karen and my aunt and uncle for having me! :)

Soccer Saturday

With no soccer game scheduled for today, I thought it was a good time to share pictures from Kaitlyn's first soccer game. (Her team won, 8-0, not that we were keeping score!) Kaitlyn CRACKED US UP when she played as she continually let out little shrieks as she ran. She didn't realize she was doing it and had a hard time controlling it when it was first pointed out to her! She also survived her first fall, had to come out of the game, but with her coach and her teammates support, was able to get back into it and stop several goals. Way to go Kaitlyn!
