Happy 2nd Birthday Emma & Lauren!

After a long process of trying to conceive, we discovered we were pregnant in September of 2006 and found out it was twins in October. We had a thrilling but trying pregnancy including 9 weeks of bedrest, but the end result was my beautiful girls. They made their appearance on 4/17/07....Emma Grace arrived first at 5:41a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 12 ounces. Lauren Hope came just 9 minutes later at 5:50a.m. weighing in at 5 pounds even. After 8 days in the NICU, we were thrilled to bring our two girls home!

Happy Easter!

We went on an egg hunt at our church yesterday. We didn't get any shots of the actual hunt, too hard to do with three kids of our own and about a million kids from our community! :)
Lauren and Kaitlyn had a blast in the bouncers, Emma just laid there! (no pics of that either) They all had fun hunting for eggs and opening them and eating LOTS of candy. Emma definitely was not ready to leave.....she cried the whole way to the car and pointed back at the church. Lauren even snuck in some bites of candy on the way home, unbeknowst to us at first! Kaitlyn also got to go to a Painting Birthday Party yesterday, helped me fill the Easter eggs, dyed Easter eggs, AND made a chocolate chip pie with me. It was a fun-filled day!
