Kaitlyn did an awesome job at her dance recital last Saturday evening. Our babysitter, Meaghan, came to watch the twins so we were able to enjoy a relaxing dinner out at Applebee's before the show. We only were allowed 5 tickets, so in the audience were Daddy and me, Gigi, Aunt NeeCee, and Kristen. It was so nice to have them there, especially for such a looooong program. (Out of 58 performances, Kaitlyn was in number 35 and then 51........) The recital had music that was Disney-themed, so there was lots of familiar music and neat dances.
All of the girls in her class looked so cute all dressed up in their costume and make-up...I think everyone had a great time!

BEAUTIFUL cake made by Kaitlyn and me this afternoon
She was SO excited! She's been talking about this for weeks and wanted to surprise Daddy when he got home from work.
I had planned to write "Happy Birthday Daddy!", then told Kaitlyn we would just put "Daddy". After I made the super-huge "D", she said, "I think you better just write 'Dad' instead!"
